Shrimp
Hold 0.1%+ of KEPT · A small net
$20 pack, $5 card:
net $6, vault adds +$1
How it works
Card packs are a gamble: some cards are worth a lot, most are worth a little. KEPT holders get a net under every rip.
Explain it like I'm 10
1A pack costs $20. You don't know which card is inside. That's the fun part.
2This time the card is only worth $5. Ouch.
3You're a Dolphin, so your net is $9. The vault sends +$4 to fill the gap.
4You leave with the card plus $4: $9 in total, never below the net.
The grown-up math
Net = pack price × your tier's percent. Top-up = net − card value, never below zero, never above $200.
If the card had been worth $15, it is already above the $9 net, so nothing is paid.

| Tier | Hold of supply | Net, ripped here | Net, ripped elsewhere |
|---|---|---|---|
| Shrimp | 0.1%+ | 30% | 15% |
| Dolphin | 1%+ | 45% | 25% |
| Whale | 2%+ | 60% | 35% |
Rips here pay the 10% net fee, which is why their net is bigger.
Where the money comes from
🪙
Every KEPT trade on pump.fun pays a small creator fee. All of it goes into the vault.
🔥
Packs ripped here add 10% to the price. 50% of it fills the vault, and 50% buys KEPT and burns it forever.
Guardrails
One rip can top up at most this much.
A rip here only goes through if the vault already holds its biggest possible top-up.
Below this, claims from other sites wait in line until the vault refills.
If a wallet's claims pass 20× its KEPT value, new claims pause for review.
Claim within this many hours of the rip, or the top-up expires.
Your tier is set by your smallest KEPT balance from the rip to the claim.
FAQ
No. It is a safety net the vault pays while it has money, under the rules on this page. It is not insurance and not a guarantee.
Always. The top-up comes on top of the card, in USDC.
Then you had a good pull. Nothing is paid, and you keep the card.
The value the pack seller records for the card at the moment it is pulled. Nobody changes it afterwards, including us.
So the net goes to people who were holding KEPT when they ripped. Selling KEPT right after a rip lowers your tier for that rip.
One rip tops up at most $200. A whale's net is 60% of the pack price.
Rips here reserve their biggest possible top-up before you pay, and pause if the vault cannot. Claims from elsewhere wait in line while the vault is under $1,000.
